Outlook 365 - Sync error JBO-227040 Value for field Country exceeds the maximum length allowed (Doc ID 2811576.1)

When synchronizing Contacts from Outlook 365 to CX Sales the following error is received:


JBO-227040 Value Espana for field Country exceeds the maximum length allowed

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. When we update an Outlook contact that is being shared with the CRM, the address field appears as a text field. By default, Outlook allows to select a country name in the Country lookup.
2.Once we save and synchronize this record it returns an error indicating that the country exceeded the maximum length allowed.
