Items Are Valued at Parent Level of Organization Instead of Grade Level (Doc ID 2812593.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 16, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Inventory Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

1. Items that are Lot-Grade Controlled Items are incorrectly hitting the parent-level valuation unit rather than grade-level. This affects the inventory valuation for that cost organization. Items at parent-level can’t be relieved through normal inventory transactions and are “stuck” without intervention

2. These transactions are seen in Direct Org Transfers from RSOs inventory organizations that are not Lot-Grade Controlled to the DC that is Lot-Grade Controlled.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Transfer transactions from inventory costing
2. Create Cost Accounting distributions
