Goal
On : 11.13.21.07.0 version, Transfers
No Depreciation Expense backed out for backdated transfer of a few assets.
You have Assets which have not populated the Depreciation Expense Account after you did a Transfer.
Complete Scenario:
You are transferring as asset from one Division to another with a Back date transfer date(1st period of this fiscal) as you want to move the Depreciation Expense to the new Division for the whole fiscal.
This works fine if you don't have a prior transfer for the asset in the current period.
So all the depreciation expense for this fiscal year gets transferred to new Division as you run the accounting for the transfer if the Transfer date is a back date from 1st period.
However, if there is already a transfer transaction for the asset in the current period and after that you perform a back dated transfer, then the Depreciation Expense is not being transferred to the new division.
Why is this happening?
What is the feasible workaround to achieve the goal?
