Not Able To Close GL Period Due To Asset Transactions Reported In The Exception Report (Doc ID 2818612.1)

On Oracle Fusion General Ledger Cloud Service 11.13.21.04.0 release

When trying to close the GL period, the process logs shows the error below:

Summary of Warnings/Errors:
The Prevent General Ledger Period Closure When Open Subledger Periods Exist option on the Specify Ledger Options page is enabled for the ledger: ABDC USD.
You cannot close the GL Period Due to following errors:
ERROR: Unprocessed records exist in the GL_INTERFACE table for the period: Aug-21
ERROR: Subledger Accounting transaction exceptions exist for Period: Aug-21

**To help you further process the pending transactions and resolve any exceptions, follow these steps.
From the Navigator, select the Scheduled Processes work area under the Tools group and either view the Subledger Period Close Exceptions report or rerun to view a newer version of the report.
From the Navigator, select the General Accounting Dashboard work area under the General Accounting group and review the Intercompany Transactions and Journals sections.

Also the Exception Report shows records of the form:
