Fusion Global HR : DFF Value Got Changed Automatically under Change Assignment Transaction (Doc ID 2818817.1)

Symptoms

Context based DFF 'Country information' with Country LOV and dependent context DFF 'XYZ Benefits Eligible Flag' with LOV of Y/N is created and deployed from 'Manage Descriptive Flexfields' task

When HR Admin submit the manger change for an employee, the Context based DFF Example 'XYZ Benefits Eligible Flag' value got changed automatically from Y to N.

Example:

Responsive UI - Change Assignment action > In the Assignment section 'Country Information' field is set to 'Country_XYZ' and DFF field 'XYZ Benefits Eligible Flag' checkbox is ticked (as this field is Y in previous assignment record) > The moment you deselect 'Country_XYZ' from 'Country information' field and select 'Country_XYZ' again, the DFF field 'XYZ Benefits Eligible Flag' checkbox is UNticked.
