FA:SCM:INV Getting Error "The transaction failed due to an internal error" While Performing Cycle Count Adjustment (Doc ID 2821965.1)

Symptoms

While attempting to post counts against a Cycle Count Sequence, the user is receiving the following error:



ERROR

"The transaction failed due to an internal error"




STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to the Record Count Sequences UI
2. Search for the Cycle Count Name
3. Enter the Count Quantity for a Sequence
4. Click Submit and see the error above
