Statement of Direction

Details:

Oracle encourages you to migrate to Oracle Content Management on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).  OCI is Oracle's modern cloud platform that's based on the latest cloud technologies and standards. It provides more consistent performance and better features. Oracle continues to invest in OCI, including the addition of new regions, services, and features.

Note: New features are continuously being released on Oracle Content on OCI

Product defects and enhancements may not be addressed on OCI-C that may be considered for future releases of the product on Oracle Content Management.

Since the Oracle Content Management OCI Gen2 product uses different billing metrics, it is recommended that  you should consult with your Oracle Account representative to ensure that your current subscription contract is appropriate for creating OCM OCI instances as your migration targets.

Oracle will support and maintain legacy Oracle Content & Experience and Documents Cloud resources, in accordance with the Lifetime Support and Technical Support Policies.
