Adding Datasource for BI Publisher fails with Error:

'Could not establish connection. java.sql.SQLException: 116: [JDSError : 116] JDBC Connection Error - Cause: Listener refused the connection with the following error: ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor Action: Please refer to logs for more Details'

Steps taken:

1) Checked Remote Data Gateway is enabled through console
2) Go Administration--> Manage Publisher
3) Select JDBC Connection
4) Add Datasouce
5) Driver Type Oracle12c
6) Use Remote Gateway Connectivity - Checked
7) Connection String:jdbc:oracle:thin:@host:port/servicename
8) username: TestUser
9) password: Test                                              
10) Test Connection
