OCM Content Capture Procedure Export Fails To Include Some Taxonomy Data (Doc ID 2826042.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Content Management - Version 21.10.1 to 21.12.1
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When using the "Export Procedure" function on OCM Content Capture, metadata fields that have the Field Type "Category Reference" are not assigning the Taxonomy ID and Taxonomy Name data to the output xml. When importing this procedure to another OCM environment, this will fail because it cannot find the taxonomy (even though it has been migrated and does exist on the destination).

The current workaround is to open the export xml source, and manually apply the Taxonomy ID and Taxonomy Name to each of these field entries. I believe this needs to be logged as a bug for patch on future release.

In other cases it has been observed that the "defaultValue" tag is empty on exported the "Category Reference" fields
