When Performing A Content Search In Unifier Document Manager, Documents Containing the Text Are Not Displayed In the Search Results (Doc ID 2830184.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When searching Document Manager (DM) for "Content" known to be in specific Documents, Unifier is not returning any Search results.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expecting Unifier to Display specific documents that meet the search criteria.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier environment.
  2. Navigate to the Project/Shell where the issue has been observed > User Mode > Documents > Project Documents > Select Sub-Folder > Open a document containing text > Note that "sampletext1" is found in the document.
  3. Open the DM Search window > In the Search window, choose "Content" > Enter "sampletext1" > Initially the document viewed in Step 2 above was listed.
  4. Repeat Step 2 for a different document and note that it contains "sampletext2".
  5. Open the DM Search window > In the Search window, choose "Content" > Enter "sampletext2" > No documents are listed in the DM Content search results.
  6. Repeat Step 2 for a different document and note that the document includes "sampletext3".
  7. Open the DM Search window > In the Search window, choose "Content" > Enter "sampletext3" > No documents are listed in the DM Content search results.
  8. Repeat Step 3 to search for "sampletext1". This time no results are displayed, even though initially there was results displayed.
