SKU Custom Property Is Not Available in Search Filter (Doc ID 2830632.1)

Symptoms

Business requirement is to exclude Discontinued items from search results, for this a custom property sku.xyz is added.

isRecordFilterable is set for the sku.xyz property, added the property to the /pages/Default/osf/catalog filter, and executed a new full index. We can see the new filter in the search response, but still results doesn't get filtered based on the custom field.
