On : 11.13.21.07.0 version, Service Request

Unable to access old value of field "Assigned To" in groovy script

We have requirement to access field change before and after value for "Assigned To" field on service request. I have tried using getOriginalAttributeValue('AssigneePersonName') function however its not working and its giving same value/current value of the field. Why the function getOriginalAttributeValue() is not working or is there other way we can access the "Assigned To" fields value before and after the modification?
