Information in this document applies to any platform.

Details

This message is for all Oracle CRM On Demand customers who have Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled for their organization's Stage and/or Production Environments.

The current SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) certificates for your Oracle CRM On Demand Environments are expiring. A new certificate is now available for your Stage Environment. Oracle will make the change to the new certificate for Stage on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 6:00pm Pacific Standard Time (PST). Customers should update their SSO Stage Environment with the new certificate shortly thereafter.

Actions

Download the new metadata (also including just the certificate) from the Oracle CRM On Demand Support Portal at the following link:

https://test-sso.crmondemand.com/oamfed/sp/metadata?signid=testsso2021_signing&encid=testsso2021_encrytion

Customers should upload the new certificate shortly after 6:00pm PST on Monday, January 10, 2022. Users whose Stage Environments have not been updated with this new certificate may not be able to utilize their company's SSO capabilities, i.e., they may not be able to access the Stage Environment using SSO. Customers using the metadata on Stage should also wait to upload it until after 6:00pm PST on January 10.

This certificate update is required for customers who requested Oracle to sign their outgoing requests for validation.

Note: This update is for your Oracle CRM On Demand Stage Environment only. There will be a separate certificate for updating your Production Environment that will made available later this month. Oracle plans to make the change to Production on Friday, January 28, 2022.
