Saving Older Shell Templates Causes Error: "The system could not process your request" (Doc ID 2832727.1)

On : Unifier 21.9

When users edit and save old Shell templates, they receive the error below.  This does not occur with newer Shell templates.


The system could not process your request. Logging in again may help in some cases.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Unifier
  2. Navigate to Company Workspace > Admin mode > Templates > Shells > Projects
  3. Select problem template
  4. Open the template
  5. Open the shell attribute detail form
  6. Change the shell status to Inactive
  7. Click Save.
