Fusion Absence Management: Evaluate Absences Process Is Calculating The Absence Duration Different From The UI
(Doc ID 2833175.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 06, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Fusion Absence Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.07.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
The absence duration calculated by the system when entered through system is being overridden by the Evaluate Absences process even though there is no change in schedule or the calendar events. This occurs only if there is a calendar event (public holiday) falling between the absence start and end dates. Attached the screenshots and the confituration.
One more observation from my end is:
If a public holiday is configured to end next day 12AM or 12:01AM, absence booking is fine but Evaluate Absences process is considering both days as public holidays
If the public holiday is configured to end on the same day 11:59PM, then absence booking is not considering that day as public holiday but the evaluate process is considering it as public holiday.
