"updatePaymentGroupFromGenericResponse" Endpoint Request Fails And Results In Orders Not Being Submitted After Successful Payment Authorization (Doc ID 2834987.1)

After successful payment authorization (in a 3DS flow for example) the external payment service is invoking the updatePaymentGroupFromGenericResponse endpoint in order to complete payment and trigger the submission of the order.

However, a number of orders do not progress to submission and are found in Incomplete or Failed state.
