Symptoms

Item location ranging for Non-orderable items throwing NULL pointer exception error

While trying to range a Non-orderable, sellable item to a location in MFCS, it throws a Null pointer exception error in UI. Note that during data conversion through DC tool, MFCS allows to create the item location authorization for non-orderable items.
Based on the error it looks like MFCS is looking for an item supplier relationship during location authorizations for Non-orderable item. Need to know the reason for this discrepancy in system.

Note that the customer has certain NEI (Non-Everyday Items) items which will are configured/converted as non-orderable and sellable regular items. And those items needs to be authorized to stores as required.
