Last updated on DECEMBER 22, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion B2B Service Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to complete REST API calls for integration the following error occurs randomly.

ERROR
-----------------------

Error Message:

[CDATA[CASDK-0041: An error occurred while invoking the REST endpoint.[[java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out]].The 500 Internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the server side, but the target service could not be more specific on what the exact problem is. You can trace the cURL representation of the request sent to the target service from the Oracle Integration Cloud server logs. Try invoking the target service using cURL. If the problem persists, contact the target service admin

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup  REST API  to call Installed Based Assets
e.g. /crmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/serviceRequests?expand=all

2. Call is performed
3. Attempts fail randomly
