JMS Hospital Retry AQ1 Adapter is Going Down With "java.lang.NullPointerException" and "reason code(JMS)" Error (Doc ID 2848982.1)

Symptoms

JMS Hospital Retry AQ1 Adapter is going down with below error and there are no poison messages.

ERROR [Timer-40] j2ee.ErrorHospitalRetryEjb (ErrorHospitalRetryEjb.java:204) - Exception thrown during retry.
java.lang.NullPointerException: null
...
ERROR [Timer-40] j2ee.ErrorHospitalRetryEjb (ErrorHospitalRetryEjb.java:163) - Exception thrown during error hospital retry with reason code(JMS).
javax.ejb.EJBException: Exception thrown during retry.

This can happen in any rib-<app> and the error is cryptic that actual reason is not conveyed.
