Goal
To provide a script to generate the required scripts to reset the Highwater Mark (HWM) of any users Advanced Queueing (AQ) queue tables in a database by using export/import. In pre-9i databases, this provides an alternative to the workaround discussed in <Note: 271855.1> to reduce the CPU and resource usage of the queue monitor processes.
Database Administrators can use this script when they need to reduce the space consumption of relating to AQ objects within a database, improve the enqueue/dequeue performance, and reduce the resource consumption of the Queue Monitor processes.
