Error During Patch: "Unable To Stage Hierarchy Input Files" (Doc ID 2850767.1)

Symptoms

Added a new hierarchy "STTP" in the configuration.
When trying to patch it (after copying the file with the new hierarchy in the input folder) an error occurs:

Started task : installPatchDimensions(com.retek.ride.installer.tasks.InstallDimPatching)
FAILURE : Unable to stage hierarchy input files.
WARNING: *** SWITCHING TO TEST MODE BECAUSE OF FAILURE ***
Task Begun: 10:11:49.
No inputs found for hierarchy STTP in /rpasce/customer/input
Ended task : installPatchDimensions(com.retek.ride.installer.tasks.InstallDimPatching)

There was 1 failure:
1) Unable to stage hierarchy input files.

There was 1 warning:
1) installPatchDimensions(com.retek.ride.installer.tasks.InstallDimPatching)
*** SWITCHING TO TEST MODE BECAUSE OF FAILURE ***

Listing the directory contents, the file "sttp.csv.dat" is correctly present.
