Error "Request Failed" When Using BLOB_COLUMNS Mode in a POSTMAN Query for PDS (Doc ID 2851537.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to use Primavera Data Service (PDS) for BLOB_COLUMNS mode, the following error occurs in POSTMAN

Request failed.

The following error can be viewed in the PDS log:

Caused By: java.lang.reflect.GenericSignatureFormatError: Signature Parse error: Expected Field Type Signature Remaining input: jobInput

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open POSTMAN.
  2. Try to run a query using the BLOB_COLUMNS mode.
  3. Use the query listed in the documentation:
  4. Notice the error.
