Accidentally Clicked "delete Tenancy" On My Main Tenancy (Doc ID 2851779.1)

Goal

This document explains how to cancel accidental account termination when you click "Delete tenancy" on the main tenancy. You might have accidentally clicked Delete tenancy assuming it as compartment or any other resource, or might have changed the decision to cancel account termination.

To initiate a termination request from OCI Console:

  1. Sign in to the OCI Console as an administrator.
  2. On the Tenancy Details page, click Delete tenancy. The Delete tenancy box is displayed.
  3. Confirm the deletion in Confirm tenancy name by entering the name of the tenancy to delete.
