Purpose

 This document provides the detailed technical steps to apply the January 2022 WebLogic (WLS) Critical Patch Update (CPU) / Patch Set Update (PSU) patches on a Data Integration Platform Cloud Classic (DIPC-C aka DICS-C) Instance.

 Steps to apply the patches on DICS – Classic instance
 Step 1: Make sure all the servers are down before proceeding with patching
 Step 2: Download the patches and place them on the VM
 Step 3: Unzip the patch files on the VM
 Step 4: Update the JDK
 Step 5: Update Opatch
 Step 6: Apply the Patches on the DIPC Domain
 Step 7: Run the lspatches command again after applying the patches to confirm that they are applied
 Step 8: Start the node manager
 Step 9: Start all the servers, confirm functionality, and remove patch files copied to the vm
