Symptoms

Customers are looking to create unique federations for each EPM instance on a single identity domain and cannot as the SAML Identifier for all EPM instances is the same for each instance on a given identity domain.

Depending on setup, some customers are used to testing SSO in non production environments first and enabling and then setting up SSO in a production environment.  Some possible reasons for this are a need to separate Test and Production users in two different SAML apps on the customer side Identity Provider (IDP). EPM services unlike Fusion SaaS (ERP/HCM/CRM) are typically provisioned all on the same identity domain, and they are done in production / test pairs.
