22A : Copy Timecard Is Not Copying All Comments From Source to Target Timecard (Doc ID 2854379.1)

Last updated on MARCH 09, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Time and Labor Cloud Service - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When employees Copy Timecards, the day level comments stored for each row on the source timecards are not copied. Few comments are blank.

The issue affects timecards that are created using Responsive/NUX UI, Webclock, third party Clocks, the Generate Timecards ESS Process and subsequently accessed using the Classic/Grid UI or timecards that are created by copying from another existing timecard

Case :1

Some comments are lost or associated with incorrect entries when the timecard is opened in classic UI. Managers would see incorrect information provided through those comments and as a result timecard approvals could be delayed.

Case :2

The same issue also impacts data in the fields that are setup by customers as Day level Fields on the Classic timecard. In this scenario, some of the data for these “Day Level” fields would go missing on the Classic timecard. When these timecards are sync’d with the time repository, incorrect data would be saved for these fields. Depending on customers’ configuration and rules, this could result in inaccurate data being sent to payroll

Who’s affected:

Customers who have fields configured for Day level Fields or Day level comments on Matrix UI and who report time outside this UI including Copy Timecards are impacted.
