EPM Cloud: Application Groups Are Not Getting Removed After Role Removal From MyServices (Doc ID 2855460.1)

Symptoms

Application groups are not getting removed after role removal from My services. Custom application groups are getting reassigned automatically even if role is removed from MyServices.

For example, user is assigned "Power User" role in MyServices and is part of a custom application group in an instance. If "Power User" role is removed from MyServices, then the user does not appear in the instance, which is correct. However when we add "Power user" role in MyServices, the custom application group reappears automatically in the instance.
