Fusion Global HR 21D: Seeded BIP Approval Notification Shows Contact Name Instead of Hired Employee Name (Doc ID 2855687.1)

While using seeded BIP approval notifications, hire an employee notification content is showing the first contact from Family and Emergency Contact list instead of employee name.
This is happening for new and rehired employees or during pending worker conversion only in case contact details have been added during the action.

Notification title is shown correctly.


Hire notification body should display the employee name.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Prerequisite: Approval is enabled and configured for the action.

  1. Navigate to My Client Groups > Hire an Employee quick action
    navigate to My Client Groups > Pending Workers > select an existing pending worker and choose Convert
  2. In the questionnaire page, select Family and Emergency Contacts section to be displayed
  3. Add a Contact
  4. Submit the transaction
  5. Check the approval notification body > the display name is of the contact instead of the employee
