When scheduling appointments for a shipment stop that is a cross dock location (using OTM native functionality to create cross dock shipments), a user is able to schedule an appointment outside the time window constraints defined on the order (Early Pickup date, late pickup date, early delivery date, late deliver date). The scheduling of appointments look to be working as designed for direct shipments. The issue is seen when scheduling appointments at the cross dock location (whether that is the shipment inbound to cross dock or outbound from cross dock).

It is expected to be able to only scheduled time feasible appointments at the cross dock location with respect to the time window defined on the order (Early Pickup date, late pickup date, early delivery date, late deliver date)

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Plan an order release with a defined pickup and delivery dates through a cross dock. A minimum of 2 shipments should be planned (inbound/outbound with respect to the cross dock).

Note: The itinerary used in planning should be a single leg itinerary with the 'Pool-Crossdock Itinerary' checkbox checked and cross dock location defined for the itinerary leg. Ensure that the cross dock location has a calendar defined for the location resource and the following set at the location resource tab:

Enforce Appointment Time Window = Y
Schedule Infeasible Appointments = N

2. For either the inbound or outbound shipment, select Actions -> Operational Planning -> Dock Scheduling -> Schedule Appointment
3. For the cross dock location, appointments can be scheduled before the early pickup date or past the late delivery date defined on the order release
