Receiving an error while submitting the EPS file to HMRC.
Have run the HMRC File submission process trying to adjust the EPS balance for October month, tax year 2018-19. The EPS has been successfully ran. Once trying to submit the EPS file it is shows as completed with error.
The submission of this document has failed due to departmental specific business logic in the Body tag.
The entry in [TAXMONTH] of 7 is only valid if the submission is made between 6 September and 19 November inclusive of the [RELATEDTAXYEAR]. Please check. A system error occurred during processing. Contact your help desk.
An error occurred. An assertion failure was detected at location ReportUtils.callJavaClass:5. Contact your help desk.
Error at location /hd:GovTalkMessage/hd:Body/eps:IRenvelope/eps:EmployerPaymentSummary/eps:RecoverableAmountsYTD/eps:TaxMonth
HMRC-PAYE-RTI-EPS submit error; CorrelationID was 1ABCD23456EFGH
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run EPS for a previous tax year
2. Submit the HMRC File Submission process
3. Error returned
