Goal

We have a question on how to remove inputs on Asset Types with a lot of published Assets.  What is the best way to remove unneeded inputs on Asset Types with thousands of published Assets?

Currently, our understanding is we have to unpublish all the associated Assets before OCM allows removal of inputs on their associated Asset-Type but unpublishing thousands is quite a lengthy process that can run into obstacles with published referenced items as well.

For inputs we're certain we no longer need (nor the data on those inputs), is there some kind of override in OCM to remove those inputs without unpublishing associated Assets?
