DCA - PO ORDLOC_EXP Error - "Order/item/location does not exist" (Doc ID 2860191.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - Version 19.2 to 19.2 [Release 19.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

During the load of POs, some of the POs were changing their status into Worksheet. This is happening due to the following error - "Order/item/location does not exist"

Scenario:

When ordering a pack item, the Pack is in the ORDLOC.ITEM but ORDLOC_EXP.ITEM will be for the components and the ordered item will be in the PACK_ITEM field. It seems that DCA is always validating the order/item/location from ORDLOC_EXP table against ORDLOC table, not taking into consideration if the orderable item is a pack or not. When both the pack and their components are there in ORDLOC, the issue doesn't happen, but if only packs are ordered, the issue happens.
