Symptoms

After upgrading VBCS from 21.10.2 to 22.04.0, validation errors are seen which did not exist before.
The application runs without any problem but many validation errors are now seen.


Error messages
Invalid expression: '$application.functions' - 'functions' is not a property of '$application' expressions#invalid-subproperty
Invalid expression: '$orderby' - '$orderby' is not valid expressions#invalid-property


Additional details
No errors are seen in the browser console log
