Date Range Filter Ignored After Trying To Read Multiple Resource Assignments Using P6 Web Service (Doc ID 2863176.1)

Last updated on MAY 03, 2022

Applies to:

Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Cloud Service - Version 22.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On P6 22.2 P6 Web Services it was noticed that the expected results are obtained if the "ReadResourceAssignmentSpread" web service for one Resource Assignment (identified by the Resource Assignment Object Id) is used with the Period indicated with a Start Date and End Date.
However, if there are multiple Resource Assignments (identified with multiple Resource Assignments Object Ids) in the request, the results are not filtered out, because the date range filter set is just ignored.

Normally the results should be generated for the indicated Period of time, even if the request contains multiple Resource Assignments.

  1. Create a web service request for a single Resource Assignment Spread and set a Period Type, Start Date, and End date.
  2. Notice that the results are generated as expected
  3. Modify the request and add multiple Resource Assignment Spread with a Period Type, Start Date, and End date.
  4. Notice that the results are generated, but they are not filtered out as expected
