Issue Auto-populating Additional/Dependent Data Elements from a BP Picker or Data Picker: Browser Becomes Unresponsive (Doc ID 2865892.1)

Symptoms

When there are dependent Data Elements (DE's) which are auto-populated by a Business Process (BP) Picker, or Data Picker:

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

When selecting an entry by way of the Picker the browser hangs and the following eventually pops up: Page unresponsive. You can wait for them to become responsive or exit the page.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

The data in the Picker field, along with the dependent DE's, should be populated without incident.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact: Due to this issue, users cannot use the Picker to populate dependent DE's.
