When Attempting To Create A New Business Process Record Unifier Hangs When Sending the Record Through The Workflow (Doc ID 2867054.1)

When attempting to send a Business Process (BP) draft for Approval, the processing circle spins and spins, but the record is not being processed. This has been previously reported in a prior service request and in that case when Unifier Support tried to reproduce the issue the record was processed without any problem. After further investigation it turned out that the Unifier pods had repaved on their own between the time that the customer user reported the problem and the time that Unifier support attempted to reproduce it. Then this issue was reported again in a newer service request and due to the urgency of the issue it was determined to restart the Unifier services again and this again resolved the problem. Now the issue has been reported a third time we we want to try and determine a long term solution so it doesn't occur again and restarting the servers isn't required again.

When clicking "Send" the draft should be processed and become a record, and be sent to next step.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier environment.
  2. Navigate to the Project/Shell where the issue has been seen  > Collaboration > Drafts > Select the BP draft > Send > Workflow Action = "Send for Approval", "To:" <Recipient> > Click "Send"
  3. Unifier tries to process the request, but nothing happens, the circle just spins and spins.
