Business Process Error Creating Records “An Unexpected Error Has Occurred” (Doc ID 2868194.1)

Symptoms

When submitting a record to review, the following error is generated:

ERROR

Error Code: [SHORT_NAME]-[ALPHA_NUMERIC_STRING]
An unexpected error has occurred, and the system cannot process your request.
Contact your System Administrator referencing this error code [SHORT_NAME]-[ALPHA_NUMERIC_STRING].

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier application
  2. Navigate to the affected Business Process (BP)
  3. Create a new record
  4. Add the mandatory fields
  5. Submit the record for review
  6. Notice the error
