Information in this document applies to any platform.
After either a new P6 Professional ClickOnce installation or an upgrade of an existing P6 Professional ClickOnce installation, when P6 Professional is launched the user cannot select anything and the following error occurs.
Unable to connect to database. Please run the database configuration assistant or contact your administrator.
When the user clicks OK in the error window, the P6 application terminates and/or an error similar to the following occurs.
Exception EDOMParseError in module dbconfig.exe
An invalid character was found in text content
