Unable To Restart Weblogic Servers due To Running Backup (Doc ID 2869820.1)

Both weblogic servers in out environment are in a critical state with stuck threads. These therefore need to be restarted. I cannot do this because there is a backup in progress. This backup has failed as it's can't get a lock on the weblogic server and it retrying.

Following is the error seen in the logs:
