For a Request For Bid (RFB) type Business Process (BP), when suppliers/vendors have submitted proposals, and the Compare data is downloaded:
The downloaded file should open in the third-party Excel application interface without incident.
Once the data is downloaded, when the user tries to open the file in Excel, office, and office 365, the a Microsoft Excel dialog box pops up that reads: We found a problem with some content in 'Compare_Export.xlsx'. Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? If you trust the source of this workbook.
After the user clicks on the 'Yes' button a 'Repairs to 'Compare_Export.xlsx'' dialog box pops up that reads: Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the unreadable content. Excel completed file level validation and repair. Some parts of this workbook may have been repaired or discarded.
When the user clicks on the link next to 'Click to view log fie listing repairs' something similar to the following is returned:
Errors were detected in file '*Compare_Export (2).xlsx'
Excel completed file level validation and repair. Some parts of this workbook may have been repaired or discarded.
* Where * is unique to the users localhost
Once the user clears the dialog box the data that was downloaded with the file can be seen and accessed.
