How to Secure MFT servers with CA-issued Certificate for MFT console?

The goal is to enable ssl on MFTCS instance and have the browser lock icon showing.

The following KM as used
Install SSL Certificate On Cloud MFT Instance (Doc ID 2305788.1)
in particular
https://docs.oracle.com/cloud/latest/fmw122100/SECMG/kss.htm#SECMG666

After this they are able to access wls console via ssl without issues

when opening the same on MFT then they still see issues with console
1.  MFT Console does not launch in browser with IP or with hostname.  Error is-  ERR_CONNECTION_RESET
2.  In PSM, how do I make the change so that the Admin Server Console and other Consoles are launched with the hostname and not with the IP?
3.  From Weblogic Admin Console, I can stop the MFT Managed Server but is not possible to restart it.  For restart, The following error is seen
For server xxx_server_1, the Node Manager associated with machine xxx_machine_1 is not reachable.
