Goal
Customer had to update their plan cycle dates after a business decision to pull in their cycle.
Customer had already started the plan/cycle and had people working in the plan/cycle making inputs so they could not do a back-out.
Instead, they just updated some of the dates in the cycle.
One of the fields updated was the "Default Promotion effective date" from 8/1/2022 to 7/1/2022.
This was done on June 10th Dallas time in the afternoon.
Their daily start/refresh job then ran starting at 6pm Dallas time that evening.
Due to the weekend, no one noticed until Monday morning that proposed grade values which had been previously input were no longer on the worksheet.
However, the audit trail shows a proposed grade had been input at some point since the cycle had been open for inputs.
They have since mass loaded those showing a promotion in the audit trail but having a blank proposed grade field value.
The customer believes the start/refresh jobs would not be removing proposed data just because dates in the cycle were updated.
Is this a bug?
Did the start, refresh jobs do this or did just changing the cycle dates do this?
