Error "Unable to create Business Process record. Due date cannot be earlier than start date." in the Unifier Mobile iOS App (Doc ID 2878347.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a Business Process (BP) record in the Unifier Mobile iOS App, the following error occurs.

Unable to create Business Process record. Due date cannot be earlier than start date.

The error occurs even if the user remains in Online mode throughout while saving a draft and progressing it forward.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the application.
  2. While in Online mode, on the Home screen tap + (plus sign) to create a new BP record.
  3. Save the draft, and note that a due date is automatically assigned to the record.
  4. Switch to Offline mode and edit the draft record.
  5. Switch to online mode to Submit the record for review.
  6. The reported error is received.
