Passport: Required Service Updates for TEE 22C.1.1 or higher (Doc ID 2881681.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


Recipients of GCN-01283 / GCN-01284 (sent to some customers around July 8, 2022) have one or more passport services that need to be updated to the most current version of the service prior to their zone being updated to TEE 22C.1.1 or higher. This is required because these services require an internal update during the TEE 22C update, and therefore need to be at the latest available version going into the TEE 22C update cycle.

Customers that received this GCN should follow the steps listed below under "Customer Actions".  This should be completed by August 30, 2022.



  • Customers that did not receive this GCN have no required action for this.  Customers who did not receive the notice either do not have one of the listed services, or the ones they have are already at the latest available version.
  • Passport service providers that receive a copy of the GCN from the customer may disregard it.  Any action items for a service provider would have been covered directly between the Oracle Taleo passport (dev) team and the service provider earlier in the year.  The notice covered customer action items only.
  • Earlier versions of the CutE, pymetrics and easyrecrue services are 'single phase'.  The upgraded versions of these services are 'multi-phase'.  Designed behavior for certified Passport services is that when there is a change from single-phase to multi-phase, there are changes in the Display of result form.  These changes require customers to add new fields to the form. (Existing result fields should be retained so that results from before the service's upgrade can still be seen.  Please review the following for more information:

Customer Actions (for GCN--01283/01284 recipients only):

1. Get the codes of Passport services that are being used

2. Submit a request to have the relevant passport services upgraded.  Please include the passport service code to be updated.

Submitting a passport service(s) upgrade request SR:



  • It is recommended to first upgrade the service in staging and test. 
  • A passport service upgrade does NOT require zone downtime.
