Error "HTTP BLUEBEAM: Invalid URL" Received When Sending A Business Process Record/Task Forward (Doc ID 2881698.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

When attempting to send a business process record (that has a hyperlink picker data element) forward the following error occurs.

HTTP BLUEBEAM: Invalid URL


STEPS
-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Unifier environment.
  2. Navigate Home>Tasks>Open record xyz-0001.
  3. In the Upper or Detail Form find hyperlink picker data element e.g HTTP Bluebeam link icon and copy the URL e.g. "https://studio.bluebeam.com/join.html?ID=abc-abc-01" into the 'URL' field.
  4. Note: The URL Name field is left blank.
  5. Enter value for any other required fields and attempt to send the record/task forward.
  6. The error noted above is displayed in the UI.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

Once a working link is entered as the URL for a hyperlink picker data element and its associated URL Name field is left blank, the task/record should still be able to progress forward on Send and no error message should be received.
