ADF Error When Opening Competencies Linked to Job Profile in Explore Roles (Doc ID 2882433.1)

Symptoms

 An error is thrown when the user tries to expand the Competency section of a Job profile from Career Development ( Me → Career and Performance → Career development → Explore Roles → Search and Open a Job Profile). It could either be an EmptyStackException or NullPointerException or simply an ADFFaces Error.

The issue may occur from 22A onwards.
The issue may arise for the existing competency sections, especially seeded competency sections or sections created during V1-V2 migration.
