The business has table type depreciation methods with the same method code available in Common Set and Enterprise Set with different rates. At the Asset Book level, the reference set selected for the Depreciation Method is “Enterprise Set”. Based on the above setup, when we loaded the assets using FBDI by providing the Depreciation Method code, we excepted the system to take the Depreciation Method corresponding to “Enterprise Set” based on the book setups but there is no consistency as the assets are randomly picking Depreciation Methods from both ‘Common Set’ and ‘Enterprise Set’ which is resulting in the unexpected rates being applied for the depreciation calculation.

It is expected that the depreciation method used is the one set on the book as “Enterprise Set”, even when the methods have the exact name

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set for the Book the rule Asset Depreciation Methods as Reference Data Set Code: ENTERPRISE
2. Have table depreciation methods with the same name (different rates) for both the Reference Data Set: Common Set and Enterprise Set
3. Test an asset addition on the book
