User Provisioning in the Primavera Administration Tool Fails With Error "Assigning Application Access Failed for User <USERNAME>" (Doc ID 2883115.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to provision a new user for P6, from the Primavera Administration Portal, the following error occurs:

Assigning Application Access failed for user <USERNAME>

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Browse to the Cloud portal and select the Primavera Administration link.
  2. Select the user, then click the wheel on the right side to manage access.
  3. Select the desired P6 environment and Save the change.
  4. Observe the reported error.
