ODI on MP Agent Fails with "Java.net.UnknownHostException" After Setting SSL Authenticated Proxy Host (Doc ID 2888956.1)

Symptoms

Using the out-of-box Marketplace Jetty Agent with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) on Marketplace (MP) Version 12.2.1.4.211010. An SSL authenticated proxy server is needed to connect to some of the data servers. For this purpose, Patch 33825003 was applied and -Djdk.http.auth.tunneling.disabledSchemes="" parameter was added, see Document 2881346.1 - ODI On MP Agent Proxy Tunnel Is Short Lived, Error "ODI-30163: REST tool invocation failed"

When attempting to test the RestfulService connection the following error is seen:


5. Restart the agent
6. Start ODI Studio with the -clean -initialize options
7. Schedule scenarios using REST_SERVICE which require proxy
8. Observe that executions fail
