Goal
This KB article is to detail the steps needed in order to remove deleted participants from the current Blockchain Founder instance in order to successfully upgrade it to Hyperledger Fabric 2.2.4. If participant instances have been terminated, user need to be cleaned up fully for their associations into founder for a clean upgrade to Hyperledger Fabric 2.2.4 based platform version.
Alternatively, the DevOps team can perform these steps prior to user's instance upgrade. User would need admin user credentials to log into the console and perform these actions. For safety, we would recommend resetting the password after the successful completion of the upgrade.
This doc applies to Oracle Blockchain Platform Cloud Service Gen2 – For instances on platform version of “Hyperledger Fabric v1.4.7”, specifically instances that have terminated/deleted participant instances.
